SUMMARY: Perform business and systems analysis on the overall product delivery / supply chain process on behalf of our customers; identify and recommend process changes, which facilitate freight savings, instill material efficiencies, improve on-time delivery performance or enhance the overall customer experience for customers. Manage route activity such as: invoicing, e-bills, trace shipments, coordinate shipments, manage refund programs, oversee origin billing with vendors, manage consolidation program, manage global freight quotes for RFPs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. 1. Provide direct and intermediary communications on Logistics and Transportation issues to all levels of management, customers and vendors. Communicate and coach internal & external customers as required relative to general transport policy and corporate sourcing strategy. 2. Create and maintain data models for Vendor Review Program 3. Assist and maintain various solutions deployed. 4. Participate in Service Provider Score Card Program. 5. Develop standard transportation procedures. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Self starter with a customer service orientation, strong technical skills requiring industry wide, multi-modal transportation knowledge. Strong analytical thinking and process orientation skills. Ability to make accurate, on-the-spot decisions. Strong leadership skill base with ability to implement and supervise multi-level transportation programs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Results oriented. Initiate "what-if" analyses and modeling projects to determine opportunities for customer savings.
